SalesFocus Solutions is looking for a highly motivated, results-driven business development/sales representative. The position involves understanding the MARS product and service offerings and driving new business through the sales process, including presentations and negotiations with C-level executives in the asset management industry.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying new opportunities
- Prospecting through email campaigns and calls
- Qualifying prospects
- Driving new business through the sales process
- Providing presentations and demos of the MARS system
- Negotiating/closing software licensing and services agreements with C-level executives
Requirements:
- Proven experience and track record with selling software-related products and services, especially to C-level decision makers in asset management organizations
- Responsible for the entire sales cycle, including generating leads, qualifying prospects, performing product demonstrations, contract negotiation, and closing opportunities
- Develop a thorough knowledge of the MARS product suite and services to be able to communicate value and benefits to prospective customers
- Develop and deliver sales presentations tailored to the prospective customer's needs
- Strong product demonstration and presentation skills; must be able to demo the product suite and communicate the product features and business value to prospects
- Proven track record in identifying and closing new business opportunities
- Ability to independently direct activities to close business opportunities
- Strong negotiating and closing skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Team player with a high degree of enthusiasm for technology sales
- Keep abreast of the asset management industry and technology trends
- Asset Management industry experience is essential
- Excellent negotiation skills with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of Distribution Intelligence challenges in the asset management industry is essential
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with Salesforce is highly desirable
