PPG is a global leader in industrial and consumer products, and they are seeking a Commercial Customer Service Representative to provide order management support to customers. The role involves ensuring accurate order processing, handling customer inquiries, and collaborating with various teams to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and retain complex customer and order guidelines, such as unique terms and freight rules, and 20+ sourcing locations in addition to the Refinish warehouses
- Responsible for accurate and efficient order management and top-tiered service of assigned Direct Customer accounts
- Complete excellent customer service by handling customer issues and offer solutions
- Work with Refinish Collision team on “review and book” orders that contain both Collision and Commercial products to ensure completion
- Sources orders to the correct sourcing/manufacturing location, adjusting to meet customer expectations
- Helps maintain the quality and integrity of unique customer information within the customer knowledge database
- Log incoming/outgoing customer calls within the PPG Customer Relationship Management Database (Vantage Point)
- Complete or work with others on assignments to support customer service process improvements as assigned by the supervisor
- Stay current on procedures, training and system upgrades
Requirements:
- 3+ years B2B Order Management experience
- Experience with Oracle ERP
- Experience interpreting and responding to customer requests
- Experience for Office applications (Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
- Flexibility to work department hours of operation
- College degree, preferred
- Spanish or French speaking, preferred
