Paddle is a company that offers a unique approach to payment infrastructure for digital product companies. They are seeking a smart and ambitious Business Development Representative to drive their growth by generating demand, building relationships, and converting interest into qualified opportunities for the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Quickly develop a deep understanding of Paddle’s Ideal Customer Profile, core use cases, and value propositions to target the best-fit companies for us
- Own and properly manage a healthy territory of high-fit accounts
- Proactively generate conversations and effectively showcase Paddle’s set of products across all channels: LinkedIn, cold calling, email, video, and region-specific channels (WhatsApp, WeChat, etc.)
- Convert these meaningful engagements into qualified opportunities for our Account Executive team
- Partner with our marketing department to collaborate on in-person and virtual events to generate demand
- Use modern tools, including AI-powered workflows, to work smarter, personalise outreach, and improve performance
- Manage and prioritise your time to consistently meet and exceed your targets
- Bring a winner’s mindset and high-performance attitude to the team every day
Requirements:
- Experience in a previous Sales / Business Development role as part of a SaaS or B2B company, and are always happy to proactively engage new customers through email and phone
- Coachable, accountable, and consistent in your efforts to develop knowledge and results
- Believe in a consultative and human sales approach and understand that every conversation is different
- Are performance-driven, competitive, and energised by hitting and surpassing targets
