Sidekick is an early-stage startup backed by Y Combinator, focused on building an AI assistant for frontline and manufacturing workers. The Business Development Representative will engage with warm leads to spark interest in Sidekick's solutions and book demos for the team, playing a key role in the company's sales efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Reach out to a curated list of warm leads that we provide (no cold list-building required)
- Start conversations with business owners and operators and explain why Sidekick matters to frontline-heavy businesses
- Qualify prospects and book demos for the founding team
- Track your outreach and results, and iterate on what's working
- Share feedback from the field to help sharpen our messaging and targeting
Requirements:
- Comfortable and confident on the phone, you don't mind dialing all day
- Persistent and resilient, you treat a 'no' as practice for the next 'yes'
- Strong communicator, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated and coachable, with a bias toward action
- Bonus: prior SDR, BDR, sales, or other customer-facing experience
