Allstate is a leading insurance company dedicated to protecting families and their belongings. They are seeking a Lead Digital Product Manager responsible for managing the lifecycle of products, driving product strategy, and aligning cross-functional teams to maximize customer value.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the trusted product authority by aligning with internal and external stakeholders and confidently representing the product with deep expertise across multiple sales channels
- Create, drive and execute holistic product strategy (i.e. not limited to software development) for 2 or more products in our growing digital product portfolio
- Translate enterprise priorities into clear, actionable product strategies, roadmaps, and plans of intent
- Lead forums, planning sessions, and executive communications to drive alignment and transparency
- Own and guide roadmap development, prioritization and backlog management across multiple teams
- Navigate complex priorities and trade-off decisions, influencing decisions across senior leadership and cross functional teams
- Apply strong judgement to challenge work that does not align to strategic goals or deliver value
- Use data and insights to validate strategy, inform decisions, and adjust priorities
- Monitor budgets and operational effectiveness; develop strategies for adjusted courses of action
- Make build, buy and/or partner decisions to advance product strategy and maximize KPIs
- Lead, coach, and mentor Digital Product Managers to strengthen product management capabilities and strategic thinking
- Lead development and recommendation of new techniques and processes to support innovative solutions
- Define and manage KPIs to measure the success of your efforts and to inform the overall product strategy
- Engage in discovery/test & learn activities to quickly validate concepts as appropriate for backlog investments
- Invest significant time with users and business subject matter experts to understand their needs & habits and to elicit their feedback to potential product concepts and/or released product iterations
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams
Requirements:
- 10 or more years of experience
