SQUAD is a company that operates in a high-impact, independent strategic division, serving as a bridge between engineering teams and global clients. The Account Business Partner is responsible for managing key client accounts, ensuring strong client retention and driving account growth through strategic partnership and technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Manage 2–3 key accounts, ensuring a deep understanding of each client’s business goals and pain points
- Lead drafting of Statements of Work (SOW), contract negotiations, and financial forecasting/billing oversight
- Serve as the first point of contact for high-level issues, mobilizing internal resources to provide rapid solutions
- Identify opportunities to add value to the client’s business and facilitate the expansion of service offerings
- Coordinate closely with Delivery Directors and PMs to align business commitments with technical execution
- Own the pre-sales process to support upsell activities with new business units
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in project management, account management, or client-facing roles within IT or the tech sector
- Solid foundational knowledge of IT products, services, and software development lifecycles
- Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders
- Deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and evolving client needs within the tech sector
- Experience with project management and documentation ecosystems, specifically Jira and Confluence
- Ability to analyze and interpret account data to drive strategic decision-making
- Familiarity with IT contract terms, legal frameworks, and various pricing models
- Fluent English with the ability to lead high-stakes negotiations and present to C-level stakeholders
- Proactive problem-solving mindset, anticipating issues and resolving them before they escalate
