What You'll Do
Lead the Alpha SCS RFQ Management Team — define and execute operational strategies that improve turnaround time (TAT) and quote upload performance, driving stronger business engagement and margin outcomes across both inquiry-to-order (ITO) and order-to-remittance (OTR) phases.
Own sourcing strategy for assigned commodities — develop and implement plans that deliver measurable cost reduction and cash improvement, including lead time reduction, on-time delivery, payment term improvement, supplier rationalization, and low-cost country (LCC) volume growth.
Drive supplier performance and compliance — manage key performance indicators (KPIs) across supply, quality, delivery, and cost; lead supplier conferences, vendor negotiations, should-cost analysis, and total landed cost management to generate year-over-year savings.
Ensure governance and policy adherence — own sourcing Quality Management System (QMS) compliance, including delegation of authority (DOA), price approvals, segregation of duties, competitive bidding, and supplier onboarding standards.
Lead, coach, and develop team — build capability across commodity management, fulfilment management, and Alpha SCS teams; execute daily management routines and lean continuous improvement events to raise performance across the sourcing value chain.
Partner cross-functionally — collaborate with Order Management (OM), Materials, Legal, and Flow Parts Fulfilment teams to exceed targets on on-time delivery (OTD), delinquency reduction, supplier escapes, and contract management.

You are an experienced sourcing leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution — someone who is equally comfortable setting commodity strategy and rolling up your sleeves to resolve a supplier escalation or coach a team member through a complex negotiation.
