We are recruiting for the Senior Associate position in the Canada Tax for Immigration team with subject matter expertise in US immigration work. Working as Senior Associate in this team, your responsibilities will include:
•Assist with the documentation collection for work permit and permanent residence applications.
•Assist with preparing applications.
•Tracking of case statuses and ensuring internal databases and records are complete and up-to-date
•Submit the initial billing submission and track disbursements
•Research thoroughly appropriate legal documents required for the application process and prepare instruction document lists accordingly.
•Prepare supporting documents for application packages (letters, application forms, etc.).
•Conduct all work within established time standards.
•Any duties assigned by the Lawyer/management.
•Work under the direction/supervision of lawyers in the immigration team in Canada.
•Ensure that all client correspondence, documents and relevant data fields are recorded in KPMG’s internal database(s).
•Prepare files for billing once the immigration process is complete.

Educational qualifications
•Minimum Master Degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result.
Work experience
•Minimum of 3 to 4 years of professional experience, preferably in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 public firm. Experience in Canada and US immigration is an added advantage.
Mandatory technical & functional skills
•2-4 years’ experience at an immigration law firm. Experience working on US immmigartion applications.
Peferred technical & functional skills
•Able to adapt quickly to use new technologies.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
•Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and to work proactively with minimal instruction.
•Prioritization and time management skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
•Strong attention to detail
•Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
•INS Zoom knowledge is a plus
