The Senior Manager, Vertical Product Marketing will focus on the public sector vertical, delivering market opportunity insights and shaping messaging for government buyers to deepen TrendAI’s relevance and customer trust.
Responsibilities:
- Develop compelling, federal, state, and local government value propositions that map customer pain points - AI governance, nation-state and supply chain threats, legacy system modernization, and zero trust mandates - to TrendAI Vision One™ platform capabilities
- Tailor messaging to resonate with agency CISOs, mission owners, program managers, and federal systems integrators, accounting for varying security maturity and authorization status across civilian, defense, and intelligence community agencies
- Ensure messaging is consistent with federal mandates and frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, StateRamp, FISMA, NIST 800-53/CSF)
- Align messaging to specific federal and state contracting vehicles, as needed
- Build and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for the US Public Sector vertical, including audience definition (civilian, defense, intelligence community), buyer journey mapping, competitive positioning, and key motions (e.g., FedRAMP authorization, zero trust adoption, AI governance initiatives)
- Partner with federal sales leaders, channel partners, and systems integrators to operationalize federal-specific plays, foster cross-functional alignment, and measure business impact
- Create high-quality vertical content including federal-focused web pages, presentations, whitepapers, customer stories, webinar content, and demand generation assets
- Collaborate with campaign and content teams to package TrendAI Vision One™ capabilities into compelling federal-specific stories and use cases (e.g., securing AI systems against adversarial and nation-state threats, accelerating FedRAMP authorization readiness, protecting mission-critical infrastructure)
- Build targeted enablement assets - pitch decks, talk tracks, battlecards, objection handling, use-case briefs - tailored to federal buyers, equipping sellers, channel partners, and systems integrators to engage confidently with agency CISOs, mission owners, contracting officers, and federal IT/security stakeholders
- Conduct ongoing research into federal-specific regulations and frameworks (FedRAMP, StateRamp, FISMA, NIST 800-53/CSF, agency-specific guidance), competitive dynamics, AI and nation-state threat trends, and customer needs
- Translate insights into concrete recommendations for sales, marketing, and product teams
- Identify emerging opportunities in areas like federal AI governance, zero trust architecture, and mission-critical infrastructure security, and help refine roadmap and GTM focus areas accordingly
Requirements:
- 5+ years in cybersecurity, enterprise SaaS, or platform software
- Ability to quickly understand federal-specific challenges, including agency procurement and acquisition processes, state-wide contracts and master agreements, cooperative purchasing vehicles such as NASPO, multiple award schedules, authorization-to-operate timelines, AI governance mandates, and mission-critical operational realities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to articulate compelling stories tailored to diverse audiences - customers, analysts, executives, partners, and sellers
- Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional and cross-regional teams
- Passion for understanding federal agency mission and compliance problems and translating them into clear solution narratives
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams across global teams
- Ability to synthesize insights, analyze market trends, and develop data-informed GTM strategies
- Comfortable experimenting, refining, and driving new approaches to strengthen TrendAI's relevance in the US federal government sector
- Product marketing, vertical marketing, or GTM strategy experience strongly preferred
- Direct experience marketing to US federal government agencies (civilian, defense, or intelligence community) and state/local governments highly preferred
- Broader experience with regulated or complex industries (financial services, healthcare, manufacturing/OT) also valuable
