Popl is defining a new category we call In-Person Go-To-Market. They are seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to own and optimize their digital demand generation engine, manage relationships with agencies, and build reporting frameworks for performance analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Own SEO & AI search visibility: Set technical and content SEO strategy, and build out how Popl shows up in AI-driven search and answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews)
- Manage paid media & agency performance: Own the relationship with our paid search/social agency — set strategy, manage budget, and hold them accountable to performance targets
- Drive email marketing: Lead lifecycle, nurture, and campaign email, managing segmentation, deliverability, and performance
- Optimize the website: Lead inbound conversion optimization, on-page experience, and coordinate site updates
- Direct content strategy: Partner with our Head of Content on high-impact pieces, and oversee contractors and AI agents handling website content writing and optimization
- Build measurement & executive reporting: Build the reporting and attribution framework these channels currently lack — dashboards in HubSpot and Salesforce, baseline KPIs, and leadership-ready reporting
- Manage contractors & vendors: Directly manage the agency and channel contractors supporting these functions
- Own budget allocation: Organize and manage spend across all channels above
Requirements:
- 5-8+ years in digital marketing, ideally B2B SaaS
- Hands-on experience running paid search and SEO, including managing external agencies and holding them to performance standards
- Demonstrated experience with AI SEO / AI search visibility tools (LLM citation tracking, AI Overview presence, answer-engine optimization)
- Ability to independently build reports and dashboards in both HubSpot and Salesforce
- Experience building agent skills, routines, or automated workflows in tools like Claude or ChatGPT — using AI as working infrastructure for reporting, analysis, and content operations
- Proven ability to build and present executive-level reporting, translating channel data into business narrative
- Bias toward data-driven decision-making and comfort with ambiguity in an early-stage, resource-constrained environment
- Experience managing agencies and contractors for channel execution and content production, with strong editorial judgment
