Trajectory Recruiting is a leading technology solutions provider helping organizations simplify and secure their IT environments. They are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to accelerate outbound sales efforts and create new opportunities for the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and research target accounts and decision-makers
- Execute high-volume outbound prospecting through phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Conduct cold calls and navigate gatekeepers to reach key stakeholders
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of outbound opportunities
- Schedule qualified discovery meetings for company sales executives
- Test and optimize messaging, call approaches, and outreach sequences
- A/B test emails and prospecting campaigns to improve response rates
- Track activity, conversion rates, and pipeline metrics
- Continuously refine outreach strategies based on results
- Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to understand business needs
- Gather relevant information to determine fit and sales readiness
- Ensure meetings handed off to sales are properly qualified
- Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking
- Contribute ideas to improve prospecting effectiveness
- Assist in developing outbound campaigns and target account strategies
- Support future channel and partner development initiatives as the organization grows
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR), Lead Generation, or Outbound Prospecting role
- Experience conducting cold outreach through phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Demonstrated success generating meetings and pipeline through outbound efforts
- Experience working within a CRM platform
- Experience selling technology solutions, SaaS, cloud services, managed services, cybersecurity, telecommunications, or other B2B technology offerings
- Familiarity with MSP, cloud, hosting, or IT services environments
- Experience using sales engagement and prospecting tools
