MegaplanIT is a trusted leader in cybersecurity testing, compliance, and managed security services. They are seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive to drive new business growth by selling cybersecurity professional services and developing new client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Sell cybersecurity consulting and assessment services including:
- PCI DSS Assessments
- SOC 2
- ISO 27001
- HITRUST
- NIST
- Penetration Testing
- Additional cybersecurity consulting services
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and close
- Conduct virtual discovery meetings and executive presentations
- Understand client business objectives and position MegaplanIT's solutions accordingly
- Develop proposals and collaborate with technical teams during the pre-sales process
- Maintain accurate opportunity data and forecasting within the CRM
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas
- Represent MegaplanIT professionally at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
Requirements:
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience selling cybersecurity, compliance, or IT consulting services
- Demonstrated success selling PCI DSS assessment services
- Experience selling one or more of the following: SOC 2, ISO 27001, HITRUST, NIST, Penetration Testing, Offensive Security Services
- Proven ability to generate your own pipeline through outbound prospecting
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience managing complex consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Existing relationships within cybersecurity, compliance, or technology buying organizations
- Experience selling professional services rather than software-only solutions
- Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations and compliance requirements across multiple industries
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
