Phytomer USA is a company specializing in marine-based skin care products, and they are seeking a Multi-State Outside Sales Account Manager for the Northeast Region. The role involves generating leads, building relationships, and expanding the customer base by securing new business accounts within a multi-state territory.
Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Use various lead generation methods such as cold calling, networking, and referrals to uncover potential clients
- Qualify leads and converts them into new accounts by offering tailored solutions to meet their needs. Increase sales by consistently opening new accounts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within prospective companies
- Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure long-term success and satisfaction
- Establish a rapport and trust to create loyal and long-lasting partnerships
- Present products/services to potential clients in a professional and persuasive manner
- Understand client requirements and present customized proposals that address their unique needs
- Negotiate terms to close new accounts and achieve sales goals
- Increase sales and maintain relationships with existing client base
- Manage and prioritize a list of prospects within the assigned multi-state territory
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM software
- Regularly report on progress, sales activities, and market insights to management
- Provide excellent customer service with a sense of urgency, purpose and professionalism
- Create an efficient territory schedule to ensure regular client visits, and effective prospecting
- Periodically conduct product knowledge & retail sales training to client spa staff
- Implement annual client business plan with ongoing analysis
- Conduct special promotional events in the spa
- Present and help implement sales, marketing and educational tools to clients
- Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities
- Leverage market insights to position the company’s offerings in a competitive manner
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve sales strategies and performance
- Work closely with the education, marketing and support teams to develop sales strategies and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure fulfillment of customer orders and post-sale support
- Utilize available sales and marketing tools for presentations, sales calls, and prospecting
- Meet quarterly sales targets
- Maintain and report calendar of daily business activities
- Manage monthly promotional/demonstration budget
Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, with a focus on new account acquisition
- Strong ability to prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience using CRM tools and other sales technology
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel within the designated territory
- Ability to help advise spa clients and effectively promote and sell retail

- Ability to work independently from home office in an efficient and results oriented manner
- Demonstrate excellent work ethic and professional standards
- Must be willing to travel
- Experience in the spa/hospitality or related field is a plus
- Ability to understand technical products/services and communicate their value effectively
