Senior Medicaid Systems Project Manager (APD / CMS)

HealthCare Recruiters International is seeking an experienced Senior Medicaid Systems Project Manager (APD / CMS) to lead complex Medicaid Enterprise Systems modernization initiatives. This role involves leading projects from planning through implementation, collaborating with various stakeholders, and managing project scope and timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Medicaid systems modernization projects from planning through implementation
• Develop or support Planning APDs, IAPDs, and O&M APDs
• Collaborate with CMS, Medicaid agencies, vendors, and project stakeholders
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables
• Support MES/MMIS modernization initiatives and related Medicaid technology projects

Requirements:

• Experience with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES/MMIS) or Medicaid modernization
• Experience developing or supporting Advance Planning Documents (APDs)
• Knowledge of CMS requirements and Medicaid funding processes
• Experience working with state Medicaid agencies, Medicaid vendors, or consulting organizations
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
