Account Manager- Outside Sales

Abel Womack, Inc. has been providing innovative automation and material handling solutions for over a century. They are seeking a skilled outside sales professional knowledgeable in lift trucks and material handling to drive sales and develop relationships with clients. The role involves pursuing leads, implementing sales plans, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate exceptional, persuasive communication skills (oral & written) and are able to articulate and present the benefits of Abel Womack products and solutions in a way that results in sales
• Will enthusiastically pursue internally researched leads, implement sales plans, and develop relationships that will result in long-term solution selling
• Are adept at helping customers identify their material handling needs and providing appropriate solutions
• Are capable of prioritizing sales prospects with regard to volume, profitability and time to convert or establish business
• Can develop well-organized sales plans that detail strategy, tactics, required support and timetable for attainment of sales objectives, including revenue targets
• Understand how to leverage the collective capabilities of the entire organization to secure sales
• Apply analytical skills and market research to support sales efforts
• Understand valuable sales tools and methods including CRM, pipeline development techniques and other technology

Requirements:

• 3+ years of team-based, unique value sales experience in warehousing, capital equipment and distribution market, preferably in a dealership environment
• Demonstrate exceptional, persuasive communication skills (oral & written)
• Ability to articulate and present the benefits of Abel Womack products and solutions in a way that results in sales
• Enthusiastically pursue internally researched leads, implement sales plans, and develop relationships that will result in long-term solution selling
• Adept at helping customers identify their material handling needs and providing appropriate solutions

• Must reside in or near sales territory – Taunton, MA
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience
