Small Market Benefits Account Manager

They are seeking a Small Market Benefits Account Manager to manage client relationships, guide benefit strategies, and ensure compliance while identifying opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and retain an assigned book of business while serving as the primary client contact
• Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on benefit strategy, plan design, and cost management
• Lead the renewal process, including strategy development and collaboration with senior consultants
• Handle day-to-day client needs, ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations
• Conduct client meetings, strategy sessions, and enrollment presentations
• Partner with internal service teams to delegate and execute on client deliverables
• Ensure compliance requirements are met, including 5500 filings and regulatory obligations
• Identify opportunities to expand relationships through cross-selling additional services
• Stay ahead of industry trends and proactively educate clients on changes and opportunities

Requirements:

• Prior experience in employee benefits or a brokerage environment is required
• Role only open to candidates located in Pacific Standard Time and Mountain Standard Time zones at this time
