DIR PRODUCT MANAGEMENT

TE Connectivity creates connectivity solutions for safer, sustainable, and more connected industries. The Director of Product Management will lead global High Speed and Cable Assemblies/Backshells product portfolios, overseeing strategy, commercialization, financial performance, RF growth initiatives, M&A strategy, and manufacturing footprint execution. The role will also lead cross-functional collaboration and develop a global product management team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the global High Speed and Cable Assemblies /Backshells product portfolios, with accountability for strategy, roadmaps, commercialization, and financial performance
• Develop and execute growth strategies based on customer needs, market trends, competitive dynamics, and technology shifts
• Own the RF organic growth business plan, including market priorities, product roadmaps, investment requirements, and go-to-market actions
• Establish pricing, portfolio, and investment priorities that improve revenue growth, gross margin, and return on investment
• Build and maintain customer-backed product and technology roadmaps for High Speed, RF, value-add harnessing, and backshell solutions
• Lead new product development priorities and governance, ensuring alignment among market opportunity, customer requirements, technical feasibility, and financial returns
• Partner with Sales and Engineering on strategic customer engagements, pipeline conversion, and product launches
• Develop go-to-market, channel, sales enablement, and launch plans that accelerate adoption and profitable growth
• Develop and drive the RF/Connectors M&A strategy to expand TE's technology, product, and market position
• Identify and assess acquisition, partnership, and capability-building opportunities with key stakeholders
• Support business cases, due diligence, integration planning, and portfolio alignment
• Drive EMEA/India footprint execution across High Speed, value-add harnessing, and backshell portfolios
• Coordinate priorities across key manufacturing locations to improve scalability, competitiveness, and customer responsiveness
• Develop and execute annual and long-range operating plans, including revenue, margin, growth, and investment forecasts
• Lead, coach, and develop a global team of product management leaders and professionals
• Build leadership depth and succession readiness by expanding the capability of portfolio leaders and developing future Director-level talent
• Influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners to align priorities and execute strategic initiatives

Requirements:

• 10+ years of progressive product management, business leadership, strategy, or related experience in connectors, high-speed data connectivity, RF, aerospace and defence, industrial technology, or a comparable engineered-products environment
• Demonstrated experience leading global product portfolios and teams with financial accountability and executing growth strategies
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including revenue and gross margin management, forecasting, business cases, and investment prioritisation
• Experience leading cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives involving Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Marketing
• Excellent executive communication, analytical thinking, customer engagement, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field required
• Ability to travel globally based on business and customer needs
• Experience supporting M&A, portfolio integration, or operational transformation initiatives preferred
• MBA or advanced degree preferred
