Aviation Security Project Manager

Forge Group, LLC is a global solutions provider supporting government and aviation security initiatives. The Aviation Security Project Manager will support TSA and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport projects by gathering and translating business, functional, and technical requirements, coordinating stakeholders and Scrum teams, managing backlogs and deliverables, and supporting testing and product development schedules.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, or coordinate activities to document business and technical requirements, outcomes, user stories, and model processes
• Facilitate functional and technical calls with government customers to cover topics including requirements analysis, project status, functional solutions, tasking, risks, and actions
• Perform, facilitate, and document human-centered design activities
• Work directly with technical staff to create and maintain technical documentation
• Facilitate scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Maintain an active backlog that is continuously updated and re-prioritized
• Facilitate and support team working in sprints for the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) by removing impediments and coordinating necessary collaboration channels as needed
• Validate business process workflows by testing, system modeling, and end-user testing
• Maintain Active Federal Security Clearance and Airport Security Access

• U.S. Citizen
• 5-7 years of professional experience supporting Digital Transformation efforts
• Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Business Information Technology, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of Scrum concepts and methodology
• Experience writing/reviewing documentation for the government
• Experience with Jira Software
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to follow security protocol to protect sensitive data
• Identifies and resolves problems promptly; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem-solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics
• Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, proposals, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data

• Experience working in federal and/or airport aviation security environment preferred
• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
• Certified Scrum Master (Scrum Alliance) preferred
• Active DHS Vetting and/or Security Clearance is preferred
