Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Modus Create is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to support new business growth across the US and Canada. The role focuses on outbound prospecting, researching and qualifying prospective customers, scheduling sales meetings, maintaining CRM data, and providing market feedback to improve sales and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Drive new business through high-volume outbound prospecting activities
• Research prospective customers, industries, and market trends to create highly personalised and relevant communications
• Engage with prospects through phone calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach
• Consistently work towards weekly and monthly outbound activity targets
• Identify and qualify new sales opportunities
• Schedule meetings for the Sales team and support the development of the sales pipeline
• Meet or exceed activity and appointment-setting goals
• Help ensure scheduled meetings convert into qualified sales opportunities
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect, opportunity, and activity records in the CRM
• Ensure prospect and opportunity data remains complete, accessible, and current
• Support accurate sales pipeline reporting and forecasting through effective CRM administration
• Build strong, professional relationships with prospective customers through effective communication and engagement
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to ensure a smooth hand-off of qualified opportunities
• Maintain a focus on the quality and readiness of opportunities passed to the Sales team
• Provide relevant market and prospect feedback to the Sales and Marketing teams
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to review and optimise messaging and positioning
• Share actionable insights to help improve sales processes, messaging relevance, and prospect engagement
• Actively role-model, support, and contribute to Modus Create’s company values
• Attend industry events and conferences as required to support sales programmes and lead generation efforts
• Undertake other duties as required in line with the evolving needs of the business

Requirements:

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable making outbound sales calls
• Organised, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
• Previous experience in an SDR, inside sales, or business development role is preferred
• Previous experience in the software and technology sector is preferred
• Experience using a CRM system is preferred
• Relevant sales or CRM certifications, such as HubSpot certifications
• Previous experience working with HubSpot CRM
• Additional experience in software, technology, or digital services environments
