Sales Development Representative

UVeye develops AI-centric automated vehicle inspection systems using computer vision, machine learning, and generative AI to improve automotive safety and reliability. The Sales Development Representative will support the West Coast Sales team by identifying and engaging prospective customers, scheduling qualified meetings, managing prospect information, and collaborating with Sales and Marketing to advance business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage prospective customers through thoughtful, consistent outbound outreach
• Research target accounts and connect with the appropriate decision-makers
• Schedule 4–6 qualified meetings per week while meeting established daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals
• Ask effective questions, actively listen, and clearly communicate our value proposition
• Navigate objections professionally and confidently move conversations toward an appropriate next step
• Follow up promptly on missed or canceled meetings to re-engage prospects and reschedule
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of conversations, contact information, and next steps in Salesforce
• Follow established sales processes and use the team’s tools effectively
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to strengthen messaging, share prospect insights, and improve outreach strategies
• Handle customer and company information with professionalism and discretion

Requirements:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally by phone
• A customer-focused, friendly, and confident approach when speaking with a variety of people and personality types
• Strong active-listening skills and the ability to ask relevant questions, understand prospect needs, and respond thoughtfully to objections
• Persistence and resilience when navigating unanswered outreach, objections, and changing priorities
• Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to document conversations accurately and manage follow-up commitments
• A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively across Sales and Marketing teams
• Openness to coaching, constructive feedback, and continuous improvement
• The ability to remain calm, professional, and productive in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
• Experience selling to automotive dealerships is required
• Previous experience in sales development, business development, outbound prospecting, appointment setting, or a similar customer-facing role is preferred
• A track record of meeting activity or appointment-setting goals is a plus
• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is preferred
