Sales Development Representative

Gallagher Security is hiring a Sales Development Representative to support lead generation and sales growth across the Canadian and U.S. markets. The role researches target accounts, conducts inbound and outbound outreach, qualifies leads, and partners with sales, marketing, and technical teams to develop qualified opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Follow up on inbound marketing leads, qualify interest, and provide prospects with the right information at the right time
• Research target markets, build prospect lists, identify key decision makers, and develop a clear understanding of customer requirements
• Generate new opportunities through outbound calls, email, social media, campaigns, webinars, seminars, and conferences
• Conduct discovery and qualification conversations, communicate Gallagher Security’s value, and deliver high level, solution oriented presentations
• Schedule qualified appointments and demonstrations, then hand opportunities to Business Development Managers or Regional Sales Managers
• Nurture prospects until they are ready to engage with sales, building trusted relationships as an early point of contact
• Maintain accurate prospect, activity, and qualification records in the CRM and ensure effective follow through across the sales cycle
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and technical colleagues to improve campaigns, refine outreach, and support regional growth
• Develop knowledge of access control, perimeter protection, intrusion detection, and Gallagher Security’s wider product offering

Requirements:

• Fluency in both French and English is required to support prospective customers across Canada
• 2+ years of successful experience in inside sales, demand generation, telemarketing, customer service, or a related field
• A four year college degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong written and verbal communication, active listening, and the confidence to hold informative two way conversations with prospects
• Demonstrated prospecting ability and experience using CRM systems
• The ability to explain complex topics clearly, tailor outreach to customer needs, and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
• A collaborative, flexible, and responsive approach, with the ability to work independently and support a distributed team
• A diligent work ethic, high integrity, resilience, initiative, and a strong focus on achieving goals and key deliverables
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• a bachelor's degree in business or a related area is preferred
• familiarity with sales outreach platforms is an advantage
