Own the process of privacy management of the data company
Manage the agenda and document decisions of the Privacy Policy Team
Establish and maintain content and materials as guides for employees, clients, and suppliers
Lead internal training sessions to educate employees on privacy practices and obligations
Act as the authority and primary owner of Privacy for teams seeking clarification on the company's policies
Bring new issues to the attention of the Privacy Policy Team
Design and manage processes for adopting changes in regulation
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations by the company's vendors and clients
Respond to external inquiries regarding the company's privacy policies
Educate client-facing employees about company policies
Represent the company externally in validating practices and advocating for ethical data use.
Requirements
Experience managing a privacy program for a company offering data products
Experience in advertising and marketing data and/or technology businesses
Exposure to and familiarity with data-centric technologies such as databases, data querying, programming, analytics, and/or cloud infrastructure
Strong project management skills
Ability to design effective business processes
Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to simplify and present technical information to educate decision-makers.
Educational or data industry experience that has prepared you to independently investigate and form a clear understanding of complex legal, technical, and operational subjects.
