Own sourcing, outreach, screening, interviews, and closing for technical roles (e.g., quantitative developers, protocol researchers, full-stack developers, among other teams)
Build and maintain diverse, high-quality pipelines across multiple functions
Drive an exceptional candidate experience from first touch to offer acceptance
Leverage on-chain reputation tools, GitHub activity, DAO contributions, Crypto Twitter/Farcaster/Discord communities, open source communities, hackathons, L2 ecosystems and crypto-specific hiring channels
Work directly with engineering leadership & hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of their hiring needs
Advise hiring teams on best practices for conducting interviews and making informed, data-driven decisions
Maintain structured hiring pipelines, interview scorecards, and ATS hygiene
Implement structured evaluation frameworks that align with Gauntlet’s standards
Proactively suggest improvements to hiring processes, outreach copy, interview structure, and branding across technical roles
Requirements
5+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles, ideally in crypto, protocol development, or deep-tech environments
A demonstrated ability to hire senior engineers, quant researchers, or other highly specialized profiles
An understanding of core crypto concepts, especially those in DeFi
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical products and value propositions to candidates
The ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively, and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
