Provides quality education and maintains high standards of academic excellence in teaching assigned courses in the discipline
Teach assigned courses in person and asynchronously online
Maintain office hours as assigned
Conduct 11 in-person meeting sessions for 2 hours every week at predetermined scheduled times (day/evening)
Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the student learning experience
Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours
Establish high standards and ensure students understand evaluation criteria
Adhere to University policies and procedures
Attend faculty meetings and workshops or training as required

Teaching experience at the college level and online teaching experience are strongly preferred
5 years professional experience in accounting preferred
Doctorate in Accounting or Doctorate in Business-related discipline (accounting concentration) or Master’s degree in accounting
CPA license preferred (active or inactive)
Must have strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Effective time management skills
Must be able to travel weekly to required location(s)
Must be able to lift 25 lbs
Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant
