Role Overview
- Develop and maintain overall management of inventory control and material accounting systems
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, Nestlé accounting standards and company policies and standards
- Play a key role in the continuous training and development of factory personnel on inventory control systems
- Manage a team of Production Data Coordinators through coaching, training, and development
- Responsible for continuous analysis of variance results and losses of raw and packaging materials and finished product
- Coordinate monthly closing activities for materials accounting and report results at monthly review
- Coordinate and manage budget requirements for materials accounting
- Maintain data integrity and production data to ensure material master data accuracy and support traceability requirements
- Coordinate, audit and advise on all physical inventory procedures in each respective area to ensure accurate and timely completion
- Coordinate and assist in the development and cross training of accounting personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting, cost accounting and/or inventory control in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment
