About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for managing sales and maximizing profits with one or more assigned national retailers and distribution channels.
Grow market penetration through account growth and the development of new accounts.
Ensure sales goals are achieved through managing long-term business relationships.
Manage the sales strategy for the assigned national retailers and distribution channel(s).
Establish and manage strong business relationships with key decision-makers of assigned accounts.
Identify new opportunities for product introduction; grow retailer and channel penetration.
Maintain a current knowledge of the consumer market.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Five (5) years of progressive sales / account management experience within the consumer products industry
In depth knowledge of the company’s product portfolio
Knowledge of channel/distributor sales techniques and best practices
Proficiency using a Personal Computer (PC) to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must be fluent in English
