Lead and mentor a team of staff accountants and junior managers
Prepare, review, and finalize personal, corporate, and partnership tax returns
Identify new business opportunities, expand firm services, and cultivate strong client relationships
Drive improvements in processes and embrace change
Requirements
5+ years in public accounting with a strong focus on tax
Proficient in tax research, business consulting, and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Enthusiastic about continuous learning and applying new software
CPA or EA certification required with a commitment to obtaining it promptly if not already obtained
Proficient in software programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, QuickBooks, Qount and tax-related tools
