Cancer Center Manager – Oncology

Role Overview

• Oversees and directs staff, formulating and implementing patient care policies and standards of care for patients
• Prepares Commission on Cancer Accreditation (CoC) American College of Radiology (ACR) surveys
• Plans, implements, and evaluates designated oncology services and administrative operations
• Oversees budgetary parameters and daily productivity metrics
• Establishes and maintains patient care protocols and standards, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
• Develops and implements quality improvement, safety, and patient care programs
• Supervises and evaluates clinical staff
• Participates in policy development, long-term planning, and project implementation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (must obtain within 5 years of hire) (required)
• Registered Nurse in the state of practice or State License in Radiation Oncology (preferred)
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Radiation Oncology Certification/Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(Preferred)
• CPR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (required)
• 2 years’ leadership experience (preferred)
• 2 years’ Oncology or Acute Care Experience (required)
• Radiation Oncology experience (preferred)
