About this role
Role Overview
Supports the assigned Asset Medical Affairs Lead(s) to drive alignment and coordination of goals, priorities, and efforts across Medical Affairs categories and asset teams
Supports change management initiatives as required by organizational and process updates
Supports assigned Asset area activities/initiatives such as Ad Boards, medical congresses, and other projects
Serves as subject matter expert for applicable/assigned processes and provides operational support and/or guidance to teams as needed
Drives the creation/implementation of simple medical processes, working with key stakeholders
Develops and maintains business relationships with key colleagues (Finance, Contracts & Outsourcing, Compliance and Operational Excellence)
Drives agendas, builds presentations, and supports facilitation of Medical Team meetings
Develops and leads tracking and analysis of performance / activity measurements (metrics) as appropriate
Collaborates with key internal stakeholders and other Operational Excellence colleagues for consistency and alignment
Supports overall financial management and forecasting for assigned Asset area budget
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required with 8+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry or related fields
Advanced degree (e.g., masters) highly preferred with 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or related fields
Prior experience in working in Medical Affairs organization is essential
Experience in other medical/clinical functions desirable
Prior experience in Project Management, Business Operations
Understanding and adherence to Project Management methodologies
Demonstrated results in creating and managing complex projects, including experience in budgetary management and fiscal awareness
Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple functions including Medical (Customer Facing and HQ), Medical Information, Corporate Communications, Digital, and Commercial
Ability to manage resources, programs, and multiple projects
Knowledge of Pfizer systems including POD, Ariba BOD, Navigator Plus
Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
