Managing and resolving high volumes of accounts for services provided by Essentia Health
Acting as the primary contact for patients to discuss outstanding statements
Providing support for insurance, coding, registration, financial assistance, and billing issues
Conducting routine account analysis to evaluate, develop, and implement action plans with patients
Follow-up with delinquent accounts and payment plans
Handling incoming patient mail and inquiries via written communication

Experience with handling cash payments
Experience with self-pay collections
Exceptional customer service skills
Knowledge of utilizing office equipment (computers, software applications, printer, FAX, copier, and billing programs)
Preferred: Experience in customer service, call center, and/or collections
