Serve as a strategic partner and internal consultant to departments in assessing training needs, identifying performance gaps, and recommending appropriate learning solutions.
Design, develop and maintain engaging training content for instructor-led, virtual, and online formats.
Ensure training materials align with University Housing and Dining values, policies, and strategic priorities.
Facilitate high quality training sessions and workshops.
Lead and conduct comprehensive needs assessments to inform training design, delivery methods, and resource allocation.
Evaluate existing training programs and collaborate with the Senior Training Coordinator to identify enhancements aligned with evolving organizational needs.
Collaborate closely with Employee Development and Engagement team members to ensure training initiatives align with employee engagement, wellness, adult education, and organizational goals.
Coach staff serving as trainers or presenters on facilitation methods and adult learning principles.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
At least 5 years’ experience in the field of assignment
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field (preferred)
5 or more years of experience in instructional design, training facilitation, or organizational development (preferred)
Experience with learning management systems, such as Cornerstone (preferred)
Experience with eLearning products, such as Articulate (preferred)
Experience with adult learning theory and effective training practices (preferred)
