About this role
Role Overview
You’ll lead and execute the regional growth strategy for Program and Construction Management services supporting transit and major transportation infrastructure.
You’ll serve as the firm’s executive client lead for key Northern California transit agencies and municipal clients.
You’ll identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, including overseeing capture planning, pursuit strategy, teaming, and executive‑level interviews.
You’ll strengthen and expand relationships with public‑sector owners, decision‑makers, and industry partners, positioning the firm as a trusted advisor.
You’ll provide executive oversight of major programs to ensure excellence in schedule, cost, risk management, constructability, and stakeholder coordination.
You’ll build, mentor, and lead high‑performing teams while developing future leaders within the organization.
You’ll collaborate with firm leadership to align regional initiatives with enterprise‑wide strategic objectives.
You’ll represent the firm externally through industry leadership, participation in professional organizations, and engagement in regional forums.
Requirements
Minimum 20 years of experience in program management, construction management, or major infrastructure delivery, with a strong focus on transit and public-sector projects
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Established relationships with BART and other Bay Area transit agencies (e.g., VTA, Caltrain, SFMTA, AC Transit, Capitol Corridor)
Experience supporting FTA-funded programs, alternative delivery methods, and large capital improvement programs
Recognized industry presence and thought leadership within the Northern California transportation market
Demonstrated success in executive-level business development and client relationship management
Deep understanding of public-agency procurement, governance, and funding environments
Proven ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary teams and manage large, high-visibility programs
Strong professional network across both public and private sectors in Northern California
