Role Overview
Provide project management support for the development and execution of national initiative month campaigns (e.g., National Child Abuse Prevention Month, National Foster Care Month).
Coordinate with internal teams and federal partners to create compelling, accessible, and 508-compliant content.
Handle end-to-end task management: scoping tasks; creating project plans; developing and managing budgets, internal team schedules, and project milestones.
Work with team members to determine needs and develop solutions.
Manage campaign calendars, documentation, and approval workflows to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate across design, editorial, and digital teams to maintain alignment and efficiency.
Support the tracking of campaign performance KPIs and contribute to post-campaign evaluations and reports.
Identify, mitigate, and/or escalate project risks and roadblocks by communicating early and clearly with internal teams and project leadership.
Serve as the central point of contact for campaign-related communications and updates.
Use project management and AI tools to ensure efficient development of deliverables and effective communication.
Facilitate team meetings and debrief sessions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Social Work, Public Administration, or related fields.
3+ years of professional project management or coordination experience, including managing project schedules, managing multiple tasks concurrently, and organization of project documents.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a government contracting or nonprofit environment.
Experience in project/task management applications such as Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint.
