Develop expertise in application of Corbion products as the leading solution provider of biobased products
Review and analyze prospective customer trends and opportunities, making informed decisions regarding “go to market” strategies.
Prospect and develop new business, sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Master a consultative selling approach and negotiating
Give dynamic on-site sales presentations to existing and potential customers
Document sales opportunities and communications; review sales reports to track the progress of sales targets
Partner with existing customers by phone and email to increase Corbion sales
Collaborate with field sales team members to ensure goals are exceeded
Occasionally travel to customer locations
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Food or Bakery Sciences or related field
Proven high level of interpersonal and communications skills, including ability to listen, resolve problems, handle unresolved issues
Ability to achieve goals through influencing and partnering with internal and external partners, contributing to Corbion’s overall direction and success
Experience in an applications and manufacturing environment is highly valued
Excellent knowledge of common food manufacturing processes, bakery product functionality and interactions, or an individual with a passion for innovating in the field of bakery science.

Persuasive negotiator with strategic prospecting skills
