The Correspondent Sales Liaison II is responsible for assisting the Correspondent production sales team in the coordination of all functions related to the purchase of closed loans.
Monitors the pipeline of assigned Correspondents to identify loans that are not progressing through purchase review process within established time frames.
Works closely with assigned customers to ensure pend conditions are cleared in a timely manner.
Assists assigned Sales Director (SD) and/or Sales Executive (SE) in marketing and customer service.
Distinct partnership with sales territory leadership to resolve complex issues.
Lead deployment testing /implementation for new system enhancements.
Research and provide response to UW scenario questions.
Identify and escalate loan level and customer service issues as required.
Work with large, complex customers – High ranking executives, large sales staff, high volume.
Analyze and review new lender applications for content, net worth eligibility, delegation, etc.
Act as point of escalation on past due Quarterly Financials for AOT/lenders and lender approval certification issues.
Conduct trending reviews and assist sales director with underperforming business partner and conflict resolution.
New lender orientation training.
Performs related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, required.
2-4 Years’ experience in Correspondent Mortgage environment.
Extensive knowledge in AOT/DT, Bulk Mandatory Transactions and Best Effort Lenders.
Extensive knowledge of agency and government policies and guidelines.
Extensive knowledge of underwriting guidelines.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service orientation.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and time manage.
Ability to work autonomously under minimal supervision.
