About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for prospecting new customers and maintaining and growing existing government customers
Work directly with and mentor 80+ dental field sales consultants
Develop a strategy for the region to grow the government business
Manage bids, proposals, and potential RFP’s
Build relationships with appropriate personnel within these government accounts
Provide technical support and hands-on training with dental products
Requirements
Willingness and ability to travel extensively
Demonstrated success as a current salesperson
Proficient negotiating skills
Proficient in the whole Microsoft suite
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Enthusiastic, positive, and able to motivate others
Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
Critical thinker who is solution-driven
Strong Presentation Skills
Relationship-selling solid skills
Outside, direct sales experience in a monthly quota-based environment
Dental sales experience strongly preferred
