Oversee end-to-end deployment of Layer units to collectors, partners, and commercial venues worldwide.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and logistics partners to ensure smooth, on-time installations.
Own the quality of every installation (ensuring wall mounts are level, wiring is invisible, and the final presentation meets museum-grade standards).
Coordinate internal teams (hardware, software, design, marketing, and sales) through project timelines, Gantt charts, and milestone tracking.
Manage administrative operations including HR workflows (via Rippling), contract coordination, and internal documentation.
Support legal and finance teams in executing agreements, onboarding vendors, and maintaining compliance records.
Anticipate roadblocks and keep projects moving forward through clear communication, planning, and follow-through.
Develop scalable systems and processes to improve efficiency as the company grows.
Requirements
6+ years of experience in operations, deployment, or project management, ideally involving physical installations (hardware, design, architecture, or experiential environments).
Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with a high attention to detail.
Aesthetic and spatial sensitivity (you notice alignment, lighting, and the small details that elevate a space).
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Experience managing vendors, installers, or technical contractors.
Experience with project management tools (Asana, Notion, or similar).
Comfort working with HR and legal systems (e.g. Rippling, Docusign, Gusto).
A balance of strategic foresight and day-to-day execution drive.
