Act as initial point of contact for an assigned business unit’s global workforce on full spectrum of HR functions, programs and processes
Assess the HR implications of the assigned business unit’s strategy and identify opportunities and solutions to help them reach or exceed their goals
Consult with senior leaders and provide strategic HR counsel on organizational effectiveness and structure, people strategy and proactively help leaders identify and mitigate risks and retain key talent
Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
Collaborate with broader HR team to monitor, report and improve upon effectiveness of programs, training initiatives, HR processes, staffing plans, current and upcoming recruitment needs, workforce and succession planning
Act as a conduit of broader HR initiatives, preparing and distributing clear and effective communication in various channels and through established leader relationships
Oversee and execute performance management practices, guiding managers and employees through the process, making recommendations to fit business needs and tracking outcomes to ensure follow through by managers and employees
Coach management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
Analyze HR trends and metrics within the assigned business unit, making suggestions for improvements to policies, procedures, tools, HR strategies and initiatives
Provide HR policy guidance to managers and team members and support completion of legal and statutory compliance activities for APAC region including ISO, Risk Audits, POSH awareness sessions, annual mandatory compliance training and more
Identify and work with business and fellow HR teammates on training needs for teams and individuals

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or a related discipline required
3-5+ years’ experience in human resource management functions
Familiar and experienced in supporting global workforce and related legislative or compliance-driven requirements
Focused India expertise with employment rules and regulations in states of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and New Delhi
Has worked with a company based primarily in the United States before
Excellent problem solving and communication skills a must
Demonstrated experience driving organizational changes, and understands business model dynamics and financial implications of business unit leader decision making
Strong leadership skills with ability to influence change among diverse workforce
Naturally proactive and analytical with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work with meticulous attention to detail, juggling multiple projects and requests
Demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
Experience working independently and with little oversight
