Draft, review, proofread, and file legal documents with the courts, serving them upon other parties involved in the case.
Prepare and proofread legal correspondence dictated by or drafted by attorneys, submitting these to clients, medical professionals, and other case parties.
Process, organize, and maintain documents within paperless case files, including ensuring the accuracy of contact information.
Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, assisting with document processing, case file management, and hearing preparation as needed.
Combine, compile, and transmit large paperless documents and files.
Track legal deadlines and meet all deadlines in a timely manner without supervision or direction.
Requirements
Experience with general liability defense, workers' compensation subrogation, or related fields is preferred but not required.
Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
Experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
