Driving sales and business development of chemicals to paper mills within the assigned territory, with a strong emphasis on technical sales and service.
Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers, while identifying and acquiring new business opportunities and applications.
Responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and requests.
Monitoring market trends and utilizing the customer relationship management system to support business activities.
Collaborating effectively with an international team of application experts.
Meeting or exceeding sales and margin targets and developing profitable business within the market.
Supporting in the preparation of short and mid-range sales plans to reach nominated targets and supporting the development of the demand forecast and strategies for achieving results.
Assisting with establishing sales plans, visiting existing and new customers, assessing customer needs, improving brand and product awareness, and suggesting appropriate solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Paper Technology or Chemistry.
Proven expertise in the papermaking process with a strong drive to translate technical knowledge into chemical sales.
In-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of the papermaking process and working experience in the paper industry.
Excellent negotiating and influencing skills with a strong customer and service orientation.
Ability to communicate effectively in English within the business environment.
Willingness and flexibility to travel.
