Seek out competitive vendors and services to assure that Ahern’s fire protection projects are competitive
Prepare change orders for customers
Attend job site meetings
Verify installation progress
Maintain labor projections
Meet with management on a regular basis to discuss project status and due dates
Participate in turnover meetings as required
Assist with any follow-up information with the customer as is requested
Assume an active role in managing the projects in conjunction with the designer and construction superintendent
Requirements
3+ years of project management experience in the construction industry or 3+ years of fire sprinkler design experience from a fire sprinkler contractor
Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
NICET certification is preferred.
