Support a regional sales team in identifying prospective targets that are a good fit for Evotec’s standalone service offerings.
Collaborate with the VP and Sales Directors to support targeted outreach within the region & qualify resulting leads.
Take ownership of smaller pipeline opportunities (academic & biotech sectors) from first contact (or SQL onwards) to signed contract.
Help increase Evotec’s visibility and recognition in the region by participating in client meetings, conferences, and events.
Support the implementation of sales and marketing plans for the territory as part of a regional team of BD professionals.
Work closely with Operations and Marketing to support project onboarding and drive client satisfaction.
Requirements
2–3 years of experience in business development or sales experience in the life sciences, biotech, or contract research industry (CRO highly preferred).
Familiarity with drug discovery & development pathways (academic or industry exposure acceptable).
A tenacious, self-motivated and target driven individual capable of managing a portfolio of modest opportunities and pushing through to closure.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with a consultative mindset.
Strong organizational, analytical, and follow-up skills.
Enthusiasm for learning and developing a career in business development within the life sciences sector.
