Senior IT Administrator – IT Security

Role Overview

• We are looking for an experienced and committed IT security specialist to join our Technology Enablement team to implement technical security solutions and actively protect and advance our IT infrastructure.
• Design, implementation, configuration and maintenance of security-relevant platforms and technologies such as the M365 Security Suite, firewalls and network security, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and cloud security for SaaS applications.
• Hands-on security implementations during the introduction of new tools and system integrations.
• Analysis and resolution of security incidents and technical issues.
• Creation and maintenance of technical security documentation, configuration guides and runbooks.
• Support and coordination of internal and external ISO audits, including preparation of documentation and evidence.
• Development and maintenance of security policies, guidelines and procedures in accordance with ISO 27001 and NIS2 requirements.
• Planning and delivery of security awareness training for all employees.
• Ensuring continuous improvement of the ISMS (Information Security Management System) in collaboration with IT team leadership.

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in IT administration or a related field with practical technical responsibilities.
• Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, M365 Security Suite, network security, cloud security for SaaS applications, EDR/XDR, backup solutions, vulnerability management and firewall technologies.
• Solid understanding of ISO 27001, NIS2 and BSI IT-Grundschutz or comparable frameworks.
• Experience implementing and maintaining security technologies and platforms—not only in design or auditing roles.
• Experience conducting security audits and preparing compliance documentation according to ISO standards.
• Business-fluent English and, ideally, good German language skills.
