Guide the team's individual contributors and interns, including the selection and onboarding of new team members.
Prioritize the work according to business needs and available skill sets.
Support the team of Salesforce Admins and Developers to ensure that each individual contributor and intern has tasks that match their skillset.
Communicate frequently with team members to ensure they remain engaged and understand that their contributions are valued.
Develop an understanding of the team members' skill sets and the skills needed to create/maintain the features and subsystems of the JerseySTEM Salesforce implementation.
Triage incoming help requests, assigning them to team members who can address the requests, or convert them to projects in consultation with the Product Owners.
Manage the Jira backlog and Kanban board.
Host weekly team meetings via Google Meet.
Requirements
Possess excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills.
Have a passion for enabling others to contribute their best selves to our mission.
Be substantially familiar with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Experience Cloud.
Have a solid understanding of the differences between declarative and programmatic development in the Salesforce tool set and possess the ability to choose the appropriate development type for each task.
Be familiar with the uses and roles of Flows, Lightning Web Components, Apex, External Client Apps and the Salesforce Rest API.
Experience with unauthenticated (guest) usage of Salesforce is desirable.

All JerseySTEM roles are pro-bono (unpaid) positions.
Membership is a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six to ten flexible hours per week and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership.
K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.
