Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, ML engineers, and knowledge engineers in India.
Coordinate delivery with US-based technical leadership across time zones.
Drive hiring and onboarding as the India team scales.
Own sprint planning, delivery cadence, and progress reporting.
Ensure technical quality through code reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering standards.
Collaborate with the Principal Architect and ML Engineering Lead on technical direction.
Remove blockers, manage cross-team dependencies, and ensure smooth collaboration.
Contribute to data architecture and pipeline design decisions.

8+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years in engineering management.
Strong background in data engineering: Spark/PySpark, ETL pipelines, data quality frameworks.
Experience managing distributed teams across time zones (US-India coordination preferred).
Track record building and scaling engineering teams in a B2B SaaS environment.
Understanding of ML/AI systems and data preparation for model training is a strong plus.
Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
Strong communication skills across geographies.
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
