Overseeing the Human Resources and Professional Development Systems team and portfolio, ensuring alignment of team vision, strategy, and outcomes with organizational goals and business needs
Managing resources and workloads to support the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of Human Resources and Professional Development technology solutions
Leading the monitoring of solutions and overall system status
Reporting progress and status of system initiatives and projects as vital to ensure transparency and effective communication
Balancing and determining trade-offs between risks, features, costs, and timescales to maximize product return on investment
Understanding the high-level business requirements, processes, and workflows of each solution in the portfolio
Managing issues and risks, including development of contingency plans
Responding to trends in product backlogs and support and collaborating in the development and implementation of system features and enhancements
Understanding of Human Resources data management and security
Ensuring software release and configuration management best practices are implemented and followed
Ensuring organizational change management best practices are implemented and followed
Maintaining business governance relationships and processes for products and solutions
Supervising, directing, coaching, training, and mentoring the Human Resources Systems team, including direct and indirect reports
Analyzing statistics and important metrics to identify changing patterns and recommends opportunities to increase team efficiency and performance
Requirements
Postsecondary degree or diploma in human resources, information management, information technology, or a related field
10 years of progressive experience working in Human Resources or with Human Resources systems, including 3 years of supervisory experience
Demonstrable experience in implementing, maintaining, and supporting Human Resources business solutions
Recent experience working with SAP SuccessFactors is needed
Experience with the following software solutions would also be beneficial: Cornerstone Learn, Glint, and MS 365
Knowledge of Human Resources processes such as Talent Acquisition, Onboarding/Offboarding, Performance Management, and Career Management is beneficial
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence
Ability to solve complex problems and provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to a team
Exhibits solid project management skills, with the ability to coordinate activities effectively and lead and empower a team capable of delivering a project/solution
Solid ability to communicate technical material to various audiences internally and externally, including senior management
Demonstrable ability to lead effective meetings in support of various projects and work to various audiences
Strong business research, writing, presentation, persuasion, and analysis skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
