Grow national revenue within assigned market(s) through developing relationships with national agencies, their clients, and national brand advertisers.
Manage accounts across set market(s).
Work with national representative firms to respond to their availability and rate requests, keeping them informed of new products and market trends.
Respond to national Request For Proposals (RFPs) and create customized sales presentations that win business.
Track sales activity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieve goals.
Proactively communicate with product and content teams to keep them informed of advertiser and industry ad requirements.
Manage ongoing alternative sales channel efforts to achieve regional revenue objectives.
Travel to meet with agencies, clients, and advertisers as well as attend industry events and conferences.
Act as a member of the extended sales management team for assigned station(s); Collaborate to accomplish station objectives and partner to develop the local sales team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
7+ years of media sales experience
3 or more years of broadcast and digital sales management strongly preferred
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits
