Your role as Interim Manager (12 to 14-month contract covering a maternity leave) is to lead the growth of select partnerships with Global Payments.
You will work closely with your manager to develop a growth strategy and implement it through multiple Relationship Managers.
You will run monthly programs and/or organize monthly or quarterly business review meetings, identify needs, and present Global Payments Canada solutions that help close sales.
You will also support and train your team of Relationship Managers to achieve excellence in collaborative contract management through hands-on and remote coaching.
Finally, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a plan to secure new partnerships each year.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
Bilingual (French and English).
Minimum of 3 years' experience in B2B sales.
Relevant experience managing staff in a sales or support environment.
Must hold a valid driver's license.
Proven track record of exceeding assigned sales targets.
Strong cold-calling and sales presentation skills.
Strong financial acumen and the ability to develop and present profitability analyses for new, renewed, or exclusive partnerships.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently.
Highly organized and focused individual who excels at relationship building—essential for success in this role.
Professionalism, self-motivation, autonomy, and excellent interpersonal skills are required to succeed in this role.
Prior experience in the payments processing industry is an asset.
