About this role
Role Overview
Develop and execute the sales strategy across assigned countries.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with government entities, partners, and enterprise customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Lead complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to deal closure.
Structure and negotiate strategic and high-value commercial agreements.
Build and manage a strong pipeline across priority markets.
Collaborate with internal teams (legal, technical, bid, leadership) to ensure successful deal execution.
Represent the company in high-level engagements with customers, partners, and government stakeholders.
Achieve revenue targets and support the company’s regional growth strategy.
Requirements
10+ years of sales experience within the region
Extensive knowledge of East Africa and South Africa markets and their political and cultural environments
Strong network of partners and government contacts across the region
Proven track record of closing complex, tender-driven deals with long sales cycles
Experience structuring complex deals (consortiums, joint ventures, PPP models)
Familiarity with government identity solutions and identity ecosystems (biometrics, PKI, secure documents) is preferred
Fluency in English and French; Swahili is a plus.
Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
