As a Key Account Manager at exnaton, you will join our 35-person team and help shape the company and its vision from the ground up
You will play a pivotal role in bringing a product to market that enhances the attractiveness of renewable energies
Being the main point of contact for our utility customers, building strong and lasting relationships
Regularly contacting customers, leading business reviews, and keeping them closely engaged with our product and services
Proactively identifying opportunities to grow accounts through upselling and cross-selling
Handling escalations and resolving issues quickly, ensuring high customer satisfaction at every stage
Representing the voice of the customer internally, bringing their feedback into product, service, and strategy discussions
Collaborating closely with sales, product, customer success, and marketing teams
Tracking account performance using CRM tools and using data to stay ahead of customer needs
Requirements
Demonstrated hands-on consulting experience, ideally between Consultant and Senior Consultant level, combining analytical rigor with hands-on project delivery
Customer-facing experience and confidence engaging across all levels, from operations to C-suite
Strong relationship-building skills with an eagerness to understand customer needs and create value through our technology solutions
Naturally curious and driven to learn

Proven ability to lead and drive complex projects independently, with strong project management skills
Demonstrated high-performance mindset and proactive attitude

Track record of identifying opportunities for process improvement and executing internal and external initiatives proactively
Skilled at managing multiple workstreams, coordinating across functions, and keeping diverse stakeholders aligned
Commercially minded with a genuine interest in helping customers succeed and uncovering new growth opportunities, good understanding of SaaS business models and commercial dynamics
Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional settings and shares knowledge freely
Fluent in German and English (this is a strict requirement, but fluency in other languages is also a significant plus)
Ideally, hands-on experience with CRM systems and key account management responsibilities
Ideally, familiarity with the regulatory and commercial landscape of the energy/utilities sector, including relevant system environments.
